How Good Is Jamorama As A Guitar Lesson Supplement?

April 29th, 2008 | Category: Electric Guitar Tips

Spent any time surfing the web for guitar lesson reviews, or a Jamorama review to be exact then chances are you’ve come across a lot of wonderful comments about how this program can make you a guitar virtuoso over night. I want to shed a little more light on this, because that’s not the whole truth. It is true, Jamorama can have you playing guitar fast, but it isn’t going to turn you into the next anytime soon. So let’s look a little closer at what this course is capable of doing for the money.

What can you expect out of this program

Simply put Jamorama is a great learn guitar course for anyone who wants to play songs quickly and by ear, or wants to jam along with other guitar players. I consider myself to be a recreational guitar player and I believe that it would be a good course for me.

The issue arises when some reviews on the web portray Jamorama as a very in depth learn guitar program, yet it doesn’t offer anything in the way of reading music or theory lessons. I would think that a beginner guitar player could purchase this program and be playing some songs in well under a month.

Is Jamorama worth the money?

In comparison to what else is on the Internet, Jamorama is worth the forty dollars or what ever the price tag is on it now. Whether I would purchase the more expensive book and dvd set and pay the shipping cost and added fee is questionable. For those that don’t enjoy reading on their computer it might be worth it.

The digital version is easier to use as each of the videos that are referenced in the lessons can be found more easily from inside the ebook lesson manuals. All in all I wouldn’t call Jamorama the best learn guitar product, rather I believe it provides very good value for the money. If you’re goal is to just play}strum a few songs and play at camp fires or with friends it’s all you’ll ever need.
